Job Purpose:
To drive coordination, creative innovation and daily management across Tom Daley’s and Made With Love’s social channels, introducing digital formats, insightful recommendations, and building communities. As a social and digital content manager, you will own and manage the content for Tom Daley and his brand Made With Love, as well as translate Made With Love business objectives into social and community marketing strategies alongside our Senior Creative & Digital Marketing Manager (UK based).
We are looking for an individual to mostly work remotely, managing Tom Daley and Made With Love’s social media channels, and liaising directly with Tom and YMU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community and channel management across all Tom Daley and Made With Love social media accounts.
Create and maintain the social content schedule with clear deliverables of weekly output for Tom Daley and Made With Love social channels. - Working closely with Tom’s video editor to ensure that content is being posted across all relevant channels; e.g 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Instagram and TikTok.
- Content and trend suggestions across Tom Daley and Made With Love social channels.
- Produce new ideas and creative ways to connect with audiences across any of Tom’s and Made With Love’s existing or emerging social platforms, working directly with Tom, the social media team, commerce team, and production team to develop and trial new formats.
- Help Tom and Made With Love deliver on branded content commitments.
- Assist in managing/planning social marketing roll out for key launch campaigns
- Use social reporting and analytics tools to ensure, month on month, that the strategic approach is effective and present this to management.
- Source and brief crafters, knitters, crocheters and other content creators as required using internal budget.
Person Specification:
- A social-media-savvy individual, who knows, editorially, what will enthuse, engage, and empower Tom’s and Made With Love’s audiences.
- Understanding and expert use of all social platforms and their USPs
- Understanding of social media analytics.
- Interest in knitting, crocheting or crafting would be desirable.
- Knowing how to knit or crochet would be advantageous.
- Experience working for an eCommerce brand would be desirable.
- Understanding of video monetisation would be advantageous.
- Ability to create social media graphics (Photoshop or Canva) to a high standard.
- Ability to shoot, produce, and/or edit video would be desirable.
- Confidence to suggest innovative ideas.
