Sara developed a passion for broadcasting at BBC Radio 1 and presented The Breakfast Show for four years, reaching eight million listeners.
She hosts the popular weekly TV book club programme, Between the Covers on BBC2 and is a regular co-host on BBC1’s Morning Live.
Other BBC TV work includes Back In Time, The Great Pottery Throwdown & the dating series Love in the Countryside as well as Britain’s Top Takeaways (BBC2).
Sara’s TV career began with The Girlie Show, and she’s gone on to present numerous shows for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. She is a regular co-presenter of Radio 4’s Loose Ends and has written columns for the Mirror and Guardian.
Her memoir, Till the Cows Come Home (2018), was a Sunday Times bestseller as was her hugely successful debut novel Thrown (2022). In March 2024, Sara published her second novel, Way Back.
Sara lives with her family in North London. She stays in tune with her farming background by having too many pets and riding her horse, Nelly.
